The Power of God
February 19, 2008The Lord desires for us believers to be filled to overflowing with the power of His Spirit. In Luke 11:9-13 we are given the key to having this power. “so I say to you, ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you…If you then, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
Today let us start out by asking our loving Father for that necessary power to live in a manner that brings glory to Him.
I encourage you all and more specifically those in our group to read over chapter 2 in Acts and meditate on the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
